This is a uniquely created Ulster Cottage Garden nestling in the countryside near Ballyclare.
The setting for the garden is a 17th century landscape complete with the original cottage, barn and farm layout extending to sixteen acres. Sensitively integrating these elements is a six acre garden containing one of the province's most extensive collections of plants laid out in intimate settings and sweeping borders to enthral the visitor.
Ballyrobert Cottage Garden has many delightful features such as the traditional entrance, fairy tree, hole tree and Celtic spiral. These nestle handsomely with the lake, streams, formal garden, orchard, meadows and woodlands.
On site is one of the province's few specialist retail nurseries which is stocked with a wealth of cottage garden plants.
Open daily except Sunday from March to September.
